Who we are

Oh My Word! ("the game") is made by Leonardo Seccia, a sole trader trading as AlrightMyLover, based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the game you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download the game and play it on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You must not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or modify the game, except where the law allows you to.

You also agree to follow the terms of the store you downloaded the game from (for example the Google Play Terms of Service).

Coins and other virtual items

• Coins, lives, power-ups, stickers and other in-game items are virtual items. They are licensed to you for use in the game only; you don't own them.
• They have no real-world value. You can't exchange them for money or anything else, or transfer or sell them to anyone.
• Your coins and progress are stored on your device. If you uninstall the game or clear its data, they may be lost, and we can't restore them.
• We may change how in-game items work, their prices in coins, or the game's balance, for example to keep the game fair and fun.

Buying coins

• Purchases are made through Google Play and are handled under its terms. Prices are shown in the store before you pay, including any taxes.
• Coins are added to your game as soon as your purchase is confirmed. By buying them you ask us to supply them straight away, which means that once they have been delivered you lose your 14-day right to cancel.
• Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If something went wrong, for example you were charged but didn't get your coins, contact support and we'll put it right.
• If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before buying anything.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Playing fair

Please don't cheat, use bots, tamper with the game or its servers, or try to get coins or items without paying for them. If you do, we may refuse to deliver purchases or stop our servers from accepting data from your copy of the game.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the game running well, but it's provided "as is" and we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. We may update, change or stop offering the game or any feature. If we ever stop the game completely, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses; the game is for personal use only. If faulty digital content from us damages a device or other digital content you own, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.

We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and if a change is significant we'll tell you in the game. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring them in your local courts.
